Samantha + Brian's Vermont Wedding at the Barn at Smuggler's Notch

You can see it from a galaxy away: Sam and Brian were destined for each other. This couple glows with a love aura that is truly electrifying. I found myself bubbling over with happy tears an embarrassing amount of times as I captured their day like I was watching my favorite Rom-Com. Last fall, I had the best time getting to know them during their engagement photo shoot at Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Vineyard. Their amazing little doggy, Cooper, was a star for that shoot and even made a debut at their wedding, glammed-out with a gorgeous flower leash. Their wedding was at The Barn at Smuggler's Notch in Jeffersonville. This was my first time shooting at this venue and it has quickly become a favorite. It is a photographer's dream. Outside, was a steamy-hot day with clear skies overlooking a field of wildflowers and views in every direction. Inside the custom barn it was equally stunning with handcrafted barn architecture, gorgeous table settings and so many wedding details. And the barn's delicious air-conditioning made for a beautiful escape from the heat. Their ceremony was magical and delivered the story of how they had both attended Saint Michael's College but didn't actually meet until just before graduation. The speeches at their wedding were some of the best I've witnessed (as were the dance moves later!!). As the sun started to slip, I caught some natural beauty of the wildflower field that surrounded the barn. Congratulations Sam and Brian! I loved getting to know you two and all the amazing family and friends that surround you! And most of all I found the undeniable happiness you two cultivate in each other to be truly inspiring. I can't thank you enough for choosing me to capture your day!
