High school band class will no doubt always hold a special place in Jessie and Chris’ hearts. This is where their friendship began. Their wedding was an incredible day at Vermont National Country Club in South Burlington, VT. Chris sang Jessie a song during the ceremony and his band, Near North, performed at the reception. And then the day after their wedding was a traditional Tea Ceremony. Their wedding weekend also followed closely on the heals of another extraordinary marker in their lives: the adoption of their 3-year-old daughter, Jordan, which finalized just two weeks before their wedding.
Meg and Jordan met on a blind date. Jordan said it was love at first sight for him after the bride ordered a double bacon cheeseburger on their first date and sealed it with a high-five. Their gorgeous barn wedding was at the West Monitor Barn in Richmond, VT, and was filled with sweeping Vermont views and amazing farm-to-table food and VT cheese.
Ariel and Elliott had the perfect day for a wedding at Mountain Meadows Lodge in Killington, VT. These two met while playing ultimate frisbee and their wedding day was filled with games, farm animals and an impressive amount of paper flowers made by the bride herself. Some unique wedding highlights included a sock puppet performance given by their frisbee friends during the speeches, the groom's solemn vow to always leave little piles of shoes scattered around their house and the bride and groom's high-five at the end of their vow exchange. It was a great day altogether for this Boston-based couple.
Reneé and La Shun had such a gorgeous wedding at the Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, VT. It all started as an office romance for these two–Reneé, a dental hygienist and La Shun, a dentist. And by all accounts they were a match made in sparkly purple heel-heaven from the get-go! For a storyteller like me that loves color, I was like a kid in a candy store with her sparkly purple heals. What’s even more impressive is Reneé sparkled them herself. Their mild November day was filled with lots of laughter, a notable amount of chicken wings, lots of sparkle of course and an overwhelming amount of love.
